NI AWR Design Environment
AWR Connected™ for HFSS provides for a microwave/RF design flow between NI AWR Design Environment™, specifically Microwave Office software, and ANSYS HFSS for 3D FEM electromagnetic (EM) analysis.
AWR Connected for HFSS enables the automated flow of layout data from Microwave Office software into the ANSYS HFSS 3D EM simulator. The solution eliminates manual re-entry of design data across the two companies’ tools, empowering designers of microwave and RF circuits, systems, and subsystems by shortening design time and increasing accuracy.
With this design flow, Microwave Office users can quickly call upon HFSS for EM analysis of fields and coupling of 3D layered structures like bumps, bond wires, and pins commonly found within monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs), densely-populated RF circuit boards and multifunction modules.
