Wolfspeed Foundry Training Course

The Wolfspeed foundry is offering a one-day on-site course designed to provide MMIC designers the specific knowledge needed to tape out a design into the Wolfspeed fab as quickly and accurately as possible.

Topics covered include:

  • Detailed overview of the Wolfspeed foundry capabilities
  • Discussion of the design rules and guidelines required by the fab
  • In-depth review of the process design kits
  • Overview of the Wolfspeed nonlinear HEMT model and it’s use
  • How to effectively interface with the foundry from initial quote and purchase order through final layout submission and verification

Target Audience:

RF/microwave MMIC designers who want to design in the Wolfspeed fab. Basic knowledge of MMIC design and experience using Microwave Office software is required.

Course Equipment/Hardware:

  • It is preferred that you bring your own laptop 
  • Special note: 64-bit PCs are required to run the software
  • Software, licenses, and required training materials will be provided during the class
