A new two-part video from Dan Swanson of SW Filter Design has been added to the customer/partner playlist on AWR.TV.  These videos demonstrate the new capability in SW Filter Design’s Equal Ripple Optimization (EQR OPT) product that enables designers to optimize diplexers and multiplexers within Microwave Office.

Customer Spotlight: SARAS Technology Designs Broadband and Efficient RF PAs Using NI AWR Software

SARAS Technology has developed an approach for designing broadband and efficient RF power amplifiers (RFPAs) using optimal impedances and matching networks. SARAS designers used Microwave Office, which greatly enhanced the design process and provided an accurate model of the final amplifier performance, enabling the company to deliver its PA products to market quickly without compromising on performance.

The gift of a seat at the popular Bits to Waves: Building a Modern Digital Radio in One Day workshop, which features NI AWR Design Environment, inspired Wilson Chung, a senior at California Polytechnic University Pomona, to produce over 100 microstrip circuits, including antennas, amplifiers, couplers, phase shifters, and more for his senior project.
